The Rascal is a fabulously fringed bag with plenty of personality. Its simple construction makes it a great beginner-friendly project while still producing a striking finished bag.

The Rascal includes two zippered pockets—one inside and one outside—giving you convenient storage for smaller essentials. Its dramatic fringe and removable strap make it a fantastic choice for festivals, markets and everyday adventures.

MATERIALS REQUIRED

• 40 cm vinyl
• 35 cm lining fabric
• 35 cm medium woven interfacing
• Two 20 mm swivel clips
• Six rivets
• Two strap anchors
• One large magnetic snap
• One 20 mm rectangular ring
• Two size #5 zipper pulls
• Two 8 inch (20.3 cm) lengths of size #5 zipper tape
• 6 mm double-sided tape
• Two small scraps of stabiliser
• Pinking shears or zigzag scissors
