The Harlot is a compact and stylish handbag designed for those times when you only need to carry the essentials. It may be small, but its structured shape, double zipper opening and bag feet give it all the character of a full-sized handbag.

The pattern includes easy-to-follow written instructions accompanied by colour photographs to guide you through the sewing process.

FINISHED SIZE

Approximately:

• 7.25 inches (18.5 cm) wide
• 7 inches (17.8 cm) tall
• 4 inches (10 cm) deep

MATERIALS REQUIRED

• 40 cm (16 inches) × width of fabric (WOF) exterior fabric
• 35 cm (14 inches) × WOF lining fabric
• 35 cm (14 inches) × WOF medium woven interfacing
• 20 cm (8 inches) × WOF foam or fleece interfacing
• Two 25 mm (1 inch) D-rings or square rings
• Two 25 mm (1 inch) swivel clips if using D-rings
• Four bag feet
• Two size #5 zipper pulls
• Two 16.5 cm (6.5 inch) lengths of size #5 zipper tape
• One 25 mm (1 inch) strap adjuster
• One piece of base stabiliser measuring 18.5 × 10 cm (7.25 × 4 inches)
