The Scamp is a fun little clutch that’s perfect for a night out. With its stylish top accent and oversized zipper pulls, it’s compact, eye-catching and just the right size for carrying your essentials.

This beginner-friendly pattern includes plenty of options for personalising your clutch and is suitable for sewing on a domestic machine.

MATERIALS REQUIRED

• 15 cm exterior fabric, either vinyl or cotton
• 15 cm heavy interfacing if using a fabric exterior—not base-stabiliser weight
• 15 cm fusible fleece if using a fabric exterior
• 15 cm vinyl for the top accent
• 20 cm lining fabric
• 15 cm medium woven interfacing

Two chunky zipper pulls with openings suitable for attaching the strap

 

• 45 cm (approximately 17¾ inches) of zipper tape, divided into:

  • One 6 inch (15.2 cm) length

  • One 11 inch (27.9 cm) length
    

• One 12 mm (½ inch) swivel clip
• Fifteen rivets, optional
